When a horse appears lazy it is NOT laziness He is confused as to what you want ! Please get the book Horse Mastership and READ it cover to cover. Some how his signals have been confused and he is not sure of what you want. This is clearly seen by his unsureness in the whoa . Is he trained to stop by sitting down in the saddle ? You are confusing him. Go to the owner and learn her way of riding this horse so that you can communiate your desires to him.
