On a scale of one to ten how terrifying is 1971's The Exorcist?

I remember it as a 10. I was a kid and it scared the daylights out of me. I had nightmares for years about that little girl getting sick and talking. It's only been topped in the last few years I think with computer imaging technology allowing the little girls to be twisted and turned into some rotting color.
