Why the pseudo patriotic party BJP did not hang the killers of rajiv gandhi when it was in power? read details?

It is very pathetic that our country is divided into fractions on the basis of caste,region,language,state etc etc. Have you ever thought of giving a single national party full majority so that crucial decisions can be taken without fearing the government to be pulled down by other supporing parties? Please ask your consience whether you are out of caste,region, language or state feeling? You can blame BJP only if they fail even with full majority.
