Why do sam fans and Jasam fans think sam is better than Liz from general hospital?

Sam is a very likable character, as is Kelly Monaco. They're both people that you wouldn't mind hanging out with. But many people feel that Elizabeth is whiny and manipulative, a view that I do not share. I'm among the few who like Sam and Elizabeth both. But I do prefer Sam and Jason together, but for no particular reason. But I do agree with you. There really is no better woman for him between the two ladies in question; people just let their opinions rule their thoughts.
