So I'm working on an essay on Garcia Lorca's "Llanto por Ignacio Sanchez Mejias," and I was curious about the title of the first section: "cogida y muerte." I know that "cogida" essentially means "goring," but I've heard that in Latin America it used as the equivalent of "f-u-c-k," I'm uming because it has that image. Does "cogida" have any similar connotations in Spain?
